Got items to clear out of your closet? Let Frillinois handle the selling for you! Consignment intake for Frillinois Market is on November 16, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Follow the signs for consignment upon arrival.
Acceptance Criteria
- What We Accept: We accept wearable items by Japanese brands, Chinese indie brands, and Western indie designers that align with J-fashion styles. For reference, see brand lists on Lace Market and Kei Market.
- Items must be in good to excellent condition, without stains, odors, or significant damage. Minor flaws are allowed if disclosed. Items with major damage (large stains, odors, significant rips, etc.) may be dropped off for free at our designated table.
- What Do Not Accept:
- Items that damage that is beyond minor flaws are not accepted.
- Replicas, cosplay, adult-oriented apparel or items, and animal ears are not allowed.
- Non-clothing items are not accepted (plushies, novelty items, wigs, make-up, stationary, home goods, etc.).
- Fragile items are not accepted.
- Frillinois staff reserve the right to select items at their sole discretion.
Commission and Fees
- The event will take a standard commission of 20% of the final sale price. The commission price helps us make Frillinois Market free to attend and enjoy for everyone!
- All applicable taxes and fees will be added to the final price charged to the customer. These charges will not be deducted from the seller’s payout.
- Sellers will receive their payout via PayPal within 14 days after the event ends. Sellers should create a PayPal account if they do not have one.
Pricing and Sales Policies
- Sellers are responsible for pricing their items.
- Organizers may apply discounts to unsold items during the final hours of the event, with prior consent from the seller.
- Items will be displayed and managed by event staff. Frillinois will provide hangers, racks, and tags. Sellers are not allowed to handle their own sales during the event.
- Sellers are responsible for cleaning their garments before submission.
- All sales are final, and no returns or exchanges will be accepted.
Item Drop-Off and Pick-Up
- Drop-Off: Sellers may drop off items on November 16 from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at Hairpin Arts Center. Sellers will be required to sign these terms and provide their PayPal and contact information.
- Pick-Up: Unsold items must be picked up by November 16 at 6-7pm at Hairpin Arts Center. Items not picked up within this timeframe will be considered donated to the event.
- We will notify you of any items you sell and your final payout details via e-mail.
- Sellers bringing a large number of items may be asked to split their items into smaller lots and bring some items at a later time, based on queue times and staff capacity.
- The event organizers are not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to items during the event.
General Policies
- Haggling is not allowed for consignment. Prices are set by sellers. Some sellers may chose to discount their items towards the end of the day but this is up to the discretion of the seller.
- Frillinois is cashless and no payouts or sales will be conducted in cash.
- Buyers may not return or exchange items. All sales are final.
